Area Sales Manager is responsible for getting the target and sales pipeline, maximizing sales opportunities within these accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction via high standards of service delivery. The Area Sales needs to use technical and commercial skills to drive the ongoing development of their respective accounts within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop and maintain relationships with strategic clients in the region
Identify and meet with customers to understand their businesses and advised customers on the technology products and services that applied to their needs
Create a roadmap for new market development, initiate actions for generating sales
Identify timely new opportunities in the form of the tenders and RFQs, work on submissions and attraction of right customers
Scout new markets at the represented area and identify new business opportunities, propose and execute market entry models
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skill
Excellent technical and negotiation skill
Should be confident and persuasive
Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships
Previous experience in B2B sales
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Computer proficiency and ability to work multitask
Willingness to travel
